The belt was an essential part of every medieval persons wardrobe. Although they were utilitarian used for hanging a purse, knife and other items, the belt was often decorated and was made of good quality leather meant to last a long time. This Squires belt (so called because Red is typically reserved for squires in the SCA) is almost 60 inches long and is adorned with brass belt stiffeners. It has a very ornate buckle and matching chape (strap end). Please note your waiste size in the comments section of your order so that the holes may be properly set.
